The Honorable Richard C. Shelby United States Senate 304 Russell Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510-0103
Dear Senator Shelby,
Under the same circumstances we see today, Senator Shelby, an obscure politician you know very well, made the following statement critical of the leadership qualities of members of Congress.
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government can not pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
Oh yes...his name...? Forgive me...it slips my mind. It was back in 2006. I think he was a senator from Chicago at the time....
So let me get this straight…Obama gets elected:
· With your assistance, he is unlawfully seated.
· Then he proceeds to pay back (TARP) all of his IOU’s to those he owed political favors.
· Then he goes on a massive spending spree (again with your help), which over extends our credit limits! WOW! Surprise…Surprise!
· Then we are up against a supposed debt ceiling (now how could that possible be…we still have plenty of checks).
· So now we are in a financial pickle and instead of reducing spending levels to pre 2008 levels, with verifiable limits imposed, you clowns think you have convinced us you cut some sort of a realistic deal and we should be grateful?
· Are you kidding me?
· Senator Shelby are you that stupid?
· Do you think we are that stupid?
Perhaps you should review the attached PDF data provided by http://Opensecrets.org from the information each of you reported to the FEC.
Let me be clear on this but in the rest of message I am taking the opportunity to express my opinions on these matters. Should you like to add your own comments, please feel free to respond directly; my contact information has been provided.
From the report, to those that this applies, you have a lot of explaining to do. The purpose of government is to serve the people...not your wallet.
By-the-way James says to tell you, "Tell them we know the truth and the truth will set them free. (And us also.)"
That means we all are all on to the game you are playing and there is no real debt crisis. Just one more of Obama's tactics; straight out of the Cloward-Piven play book Obama has been following and Congress has been deliberately aiding and abetting...
You also removed any leverage by which you could have held him to his word by raising the debt limit high enough to extend past the 2012 election. How clever of you…now Obama has been enabled to begin funding operations like Acorn; just in time to begin illegal voter registration operations in advance of the 2012 elections.
Nice going…it looks to me that not only have you sold the farm, but it indicates to me you all are taking your instructions from someone other than the folks by whom you were elected. Representative, may I ask...just to whom are you loyal? America? Hardly seems possible!
Cloward-Piven is a strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis:
The strategy was first proposed in 1966 by Columbia University political scientists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven as a plan to bankrupt the welfare system and produce radical change. Sometimes known as the "crisis strategy" or the the "flood-the-rolls, bankrupt-the-cities strategy," the Cloward-Piven approach called for swamping the welfare rolls with new applicants - more than the system could bear. It was hoped that the resulting economic collapse would lead to political turmoil and ultimately socialism.
Here is an added bonus from which you need to take heed, the folks in Iceland demonstrated that they had more courage than your disappointing lot. Plus, there is more. Listen to what Icelanders were told in advance in 2006 here...sound familiar?
Here is more of the haranguing just like we hear from Obama. Frankly, based on Obama's consistency as a liar I don't believe him or almost any other members of Congress, except MO Brooks, at this point.
Here is why....There are other options available rather than capitulation so when the deal was approval Once more...Congress sold us out. http://www.crikey.com.au/2011/08/01/us-debt-ceiling-deal-done/
With Dictator Obama there can be no accommodation, We the People have lost...and you have too! Trust me on this.
Now for a quick look at a country with leadership qualities; again, Iceland! Look at how real people deal with issues regarding public accountability.
At the time of the bank’s failure, Iceland refused to cover the losses. But the UK and Netherlands nonetheless have demanded that Iceland repay them for the “loan” as a condition for admission into the European Union.
In response, the Icelandic people have told Europe to go pound sand. The final vote was 103,207 to 69,462, or 58.9 percent to 39.7 percent. “Taxpayers should not be responsible for paying the debts of a private institution,” said Sigriur Andersen, a spokeswoman for the Advice group that opposed the bailout. More on the success of the citizens of Iceland here... Now see how simple that was? So don't try to snow us with empty rhetoric and more lies. Some members of Congress chose to take the easy way out and my dear Senator Shelby they will pay the price.
Oh yes...I Should probably make you aware....much chatter on the street regarding the following:
Investigate members of Congress
In case you are not very perceptive “We the People,” are really angry. But you will see more evidence of this in coming days.
